Ephraim McDowell Health Covid-19 updates
Ephraim McDowell Health continues to work closely with national, state and local leaders to ensure that we are properly responding to the needs of our patients and Associates as it relates to Covid-19. As of Friday afternoon, we do not have any patients with confirmed cases of Covid-19 in our six-county service area; however, it is reasonable to expect that will change as testing increases.

Ephraim McDowell Health has taken specific steps for the protection of our patients and Associates. No visitors will be allowed at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital, Ephraim McDowell James B. EDP announces office closures
The Boyle County Judge-Executive, Danville City Manager and other local businesses have announced closures at the courthouse, city hall and business offices to public visitors. Following these examples, the EDP Partners — including the Economic Development Partnership, Industrial Foundation, Chamber of Commerce, Convention & Visitors Bureau, Heart of Danville and Main Street Perryville — will limit public access to offices in Danville and Perryville to conduct business by appointment, phone call, email or text.
The organization says that at this challenging time, it is continuing to work together as Partners to assist and inform the businesses, industries and members that it serves. The EDP invites phone calls, text messages or emails in order to contact any of its team members. Contact information is found at www.developdanville.com/our-team.
New Vista still operating
New Vista is still open at this time, only the group meetings have been canceled. However, the center is still offering individual appointments to all group members. Telehealth services for therapy and case management appointments are up and running and all current clients are being contacted to offer this option in order to better protect themselves and the staff.
However, clients can still come to the office if they prefer. New clients are still being accepted so if any of you could get the word out in case people are in need of mental health support, that would be awesome! Some local police departments and other agencies have posted about us on Facebook and other social media in order to help make sure people have somewhere to turn if needed during this stressful time. Let me know if there’s anything else we can do.
