April 15 to 22
www.artcenterky.org/creative-activities
The world is BEAUTIFUL right now, with trees in leaf and bloom. The Art Center of the Bluegrass and the City of Danville want to celebrate the moment with the Tree Art Challenge. Share a picture of tree-inspired artwork in their designated Facebook event or on Instagram using the hashtag #DanvilleTrees.
Any type of tree-related art is acceptable: photographs, paintings, yarn-bombings, you name it. Be creative! One randomly-selected winner will receive a gift certificate to a Starry Night Studio painting class. Submissions are due by April 21 and the winner will be announced on Earth Day (April 22).
