Kenneth Reid Stratton

1942-2020

Kenneth Reid Stratton, 77, of Moreland passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at his residence. Born June 13, 1942 in Mitchellsburg, he was the son of the late Harvey and Lessie Tharp Stratton. 

He worked as a self-employed concrete contractor and was a member of Moreland Christian Church. Kenneth was a big UK fan. He took great pride in his construction work and loved spending time with his family. 

He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Stratton, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Noland Stratton; daughters, Tammy (Norman) Adington of Kings Mountain and Kimberly (Bill) Gay of Lancaster; grandchildren, Zachary Gay and Sara Adington (Colin) Hart of Richmond, and his cat, Tigger. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 4 pm, Friday, June 26, 2020 at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home with Jonathan Grizzell officiating. Burial is in Chambers Cemetery. Visitation is after 2:30 pm, Friday. Memorial contributions suggested to Heritage Hospice. Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
