The City of Danville has issued a boil water advisory for the area of 1400 to 1896 Pope Road. This includes all of Blue Gill, Woodhaven, and Crystal Springs Road.

The advisory comes due to a two-inch water line break in the area, and the advisory will remain in place until city workers can replace about four feet of the damaged line.

Approximately 50 customers in the area are affected.
