Patricia Glen Vincent Short

1932-2020

Patricia Glen Vincent Short, 88, of Hustonville passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020. Born May 14, 1932, she was the daughter of the late H.W. and Opal Scroggin Vincent. 

She was a member of Hustonville Christian Church, a UK graduate, and a retired English teacher from the Stanford schools. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Mitchell Short. She is survived by three children: Deborah Short (Jack) Bosley of Danville, Jefferson Mitchell (Cecilia) Short of Hustonville, and Frederick Vincent (Brenda) Short of Hustonville; three grandchildren: Christina Nicole LeFevers, Mary Patricia (Justin) Jarnagin, and Lucas Eliot Short; and three great grandchildren: Cole Mitchell Jarnagin, Charlie B. Jarnagin, and Campbell Nicole Jarnagin. 

A private family Service will be held at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home with Rev. Don Burton officiating. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery. Pallbearers are Eddie Seay, Jeff Short, Fred Short, Lucas Short, Jack Bosley, and Justin Jarnagin. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Adams, Stanley Burris, David Downey, Phillip Randolph, Ryan Rowland, Brad Wesley, Hunter Young, Chase Young, and Hampton Young.
