1949-2020

Gary Warren Griffiths, 70, died Saturday, September 5, 2020. He was a caregiver.

He is survived by his children, Sarah Powell (Jason), and Ben Griffiths (Kellie); grandchildren, Mierra, Kacie, and Grayson Griffiths and Jalise, Isaac and Maya Powell; and brother, Jim Griffiths.

His memorial visitation is 11-2pm Saturday, September 19 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, concluding with a short service at 2pm.

The funeral service will be 1pm, Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Salt River Baptist Church. Rev. David Evans will officiate. Pallbearers will be Clay Cunningham, Johnny Morgan, Chip Beasley, Jeff Orberson, Josh Morgan, Cody Beasley, Dylan Beasley and Will Orberson. Honorary pallbearers will be Brooks Cunningham and Chris Morgan. 

Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11am – 1pm, prior to the service, Wednesday at Salt River Baptist Church.
