Ina J. Pendegrist

Ina J Pendegrist, 93 of Perryville, widow of James Thomas Pendegrist, Jr. died Thursday, September 17, 2020 at her residence. Born May 29, 1927 to the late John and Etta Tyler Barnes. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Berea Christian Church since 1960. She enjoyed reading, flower gardens, spending time with her family and she was an avid Kentucky Wildcat Basketball fan.

She is survived by two daughters Donna Gayle Godbey and Brenda Ann (Ronnie) Allen of Perryville, two sons: John Thomas (Pam) Pendegrist and Gary Wayne (Ronda) Pendegrist of Perryville, one sister: Virginia Barnes Curtsinger of Harrodsburg. She is survived by several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers: Marvin Barnes, G.W. Barnes and Elmer (Pete) Barnes and one granddaughter: Autumn Godbey Roller.

Funeral services will be conducted, 1:00 P.M., Monday, September 21, 2020 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Nelson Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery with Josh Pendegrist, Jamie Allen, Matt Pendegrist, Adam Pendegrist, Jon Meyer and Shawn Rousey serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Gabe Allen, Noah Meyer, Nolan Cortez, Dakota Rousey and Wyatt Rousey.

Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. until the time of service, Monday, September 21, 2020 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
