Easter May Stevens Hale

Easter May Stevens Hale, 72, of Crab Orchard, KY passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born February 16, 1948 in Halls Gap, KY to the late Oley Dee Stevens and Sarah Ellen Foley Stevens, she was a retired bus monitor for Lincoln County Schools, and a member of Faith Temple In Jesus Name. She loved going to yard sales, Goodwill shopping, riding around, and fishing.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Charles Hale; three sons, Charles Ray Hale (Jamie), Stevie Hale, and Keith Hale (Tracy); one daughter, Linda Jones all of Crab Orchard, KY; one brother, Alford Stevens; one sister, Virgina “Jenny” Burchett both of Stanford, KY; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Cora Ellen Privit and Joann Yocum; and two brothers, Kenneth Stevens and Archie Stevens.

Visitation will be Friday, September 25, 2020 at Faith Temple Church from 5-9pm. Funeral service will be 1pm Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the church with Bro. Roger Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Dix River Church of Christ Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be: Christopher Hale, Alize Jones, Jordon Hale, Archie Stevens, Jr., Junior Stevens, and Paul Hale, Jr. Honorary bearers are: Kenny Stevens and Jake Stevens. Spurlin Funeral Home, Stanford is in charge of the arrangements.
