Audrey Rose Webb Davenport, 89 passed peacefully into her final rest at the Berea Health and Rehabilitation Center after a short illness. She was born in Gravel Switch on October 23, 1931 to the late Walter Lee and Margie Conder Webb.

A graduate of Perryville High School and a lifelong member of Gravel Switch United Methodist Church, she attended Centenary United Methodist Church, Danville in her later years until her ill health prevented her from getting out.

She was a retired nurse from Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center and worked the farm in Perryville with her beloved husband, Kenneth. They married in December 1966 and celebrated 44 happy years together. She was a loving and devoted wife, loving and caring Aunt to her nieces and nephews and a good friend to all who knew her.

She enjoyed attending the potluck dinners at Gravel Switch United Methodist Church and was a good, kind gentle soul who was loved by all who knew her. Audrey loved flowers, dogs, red nail polish and gardening. She was simple in her ways but was loving and caring to all and was rarely without one of her hats.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she is predeceased by her siblings, Lillian Webb Ferrell, Naomi Webb, Wanda Lee Webb Brady and Roy Webb.

She is survived by her brother, David Webb of Danville, KY, and nieces, Dr. Rebecca Brady of Cincinnati, OH. and Tammy Blevins (Martin) East of Nicholasville; five nephews, James Sutton of Frankfort, Reggie Davenport of Floyd Knobs, Indiana, Kevin Davenport of Germany, Vince Davenport of Brooksville, Victor Davenport of Lexington; and a sister-in-law, Rosalyn Davenport of Brooksville, Fla.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Rev. Jerry Lanham will officiate. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
