Phyllis Hawkins

1950 – 2020

Phyllis Elaine Clark Hawkins, 70, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020. She was born in Danville, Kentucky on May 26, 1950 to the late Sylvester and Chelsie Peck Clark and was the widow of Robert Hawkins Sr.

Phyllis was retired from the Boyle County Board of Education, where she worked at the Middle School. She was a member of Parksville Christian Church and also attended Junction City Baptist Church. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading, visiting with her neighbors, learning about her family genealogy and the Scottish Games. Phyllis loved going to church and studying the Bible.

Survivors are three children, Robert Hawkins, Jr., Timothy (Kim) Hawkins, and Mona Gayle Hawkins, three grandchildren, Bethany, Grayson, Scarlet, three great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Andrew, and Argus, and four siblings, Randall, Jerry, Ricky Clark, and Carolyn Wilson.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Luke, Tristan, Levi, and her beloved dog, Bo.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, services are private. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Services are under the direction of Walden Funeral Home Perryville.
