Brenda Lane

1951 – 2020

Brenda Lane, 69, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 27, 1951 in Wayne County, Kentucky to the late Ernie and Tamzie Nevels Branscum. Brenda is survived by her loving husband, James Lane. Brenda worked for Red Wing Shoe Company and a member of Lancaster Christian Church. Surviving is her husband, James “Doug” Lane; a son, Gregory Lane (Donnie) of Lancaster and sisters, Mary Joyce Goddard of Winchester and Dicey Morrow of Garrard County. Funeral services will be 1PM Monday, December 28, 2020 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Jiaan Burford officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, December 27, 2020 from 5-8pm. Burial in Preachersville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Ballard, Jackie Caudill, Richard Tudor, John “Tiger” Craft, Alan Hood and Jeffery Lane.
