Edith Yvonne Price, 79, of Crab Orchard,passed away Thursday, January 7th, at her home. She was the widow of James Ray Price who preceded her in death on January 10, 2008. Edith was born in Crab Orchard, on July 9, 1941, to the late Homer and Marie (Wilson) Crank. Edith had retired as a LPN after working for the Rockcastle County Hospital. She was a member of the Ephesus Baptist Church.
Survivors Include Her Son, David Price & Wife Sandy; Daughter, Karen & Husband Donald Anderson; Son, Homer Price & Wife Connie; Sister, Carolyn Dowell; Brother, Douglas Crank & Wife Ina; Brother, Harold Crank & Wife Ann;
Sister, Deborah & Husband Sherrill Sims; Six Grandchildren: Heather Harris, Jennifer Price, Kristy Simpson, Cassandra Price, Adrianna Price & James Price; Five Great Grandchildren: Rodney Miller,Jr, Hunter Boyd, Braelyn Price, Willow Harris & Brently Simpson.
In addition to her husband and parents, Edith was preceded in death by a Son, James Price, Jr. and a Sister, Dianna Simpson
Pallbearers Include: Christopher Bryant, Tommy Sudduth, Jimmy Harris, Patrick Ryan & Donald Anderson
Funeral Service 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 9, 2021 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in the Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 PM on Saturday until funeral time. Memorial Contributions suggested to Heritage Hospice in Danville.
