News release

This update was posted to the Boyle County Schools website.

After consulting with the Boyle County Health Department, Boyle County Schools will remain virtual again next week, Jan. 25 – 29. There are several factors that went into this decision — the county incidence rate, the number of district cases and quarantines, the management of the district in regard to staffing, substitutes, etc., and the opportunity to vaccinate staff without disrupting in-person school.

In-person instruction (using the A/B Hybrid) will begin on Monday, Feb. 1. Students in “A” households will come to school on Mondays and Tuesdays. “B” students will come on Wednesdays and Thursdays. These students will learn virtually on the days they’re not in the buildings, including Fridays. This decision does not impact Virtual or Self-Paced students.

If you have any questions, including whether your student is in an “A” or “B” household, please contact your child’s school.
