City of Perryville

Faccebook update

Please note the following message dated Feb. 15 from Republic Services, city of Perryville trash pickup contractor:
Good Morning,
Due to the weather and road conditions, we suspended residential collection for today in Boyle County. Given the forecast, it’s very possible that we suspend service tomorrow too. If that occurs, we will cancel service in Perryville this week and return next week as scheduled. We will collect additional bagged waste outside of the carts as a courtesy.
We are only able to delay service by one day and complete the entire week’s work, since we cannot operate the landfill on Sundays. Skipping service this week will also ensure that we are able to service customers in your area that were missed due to last week’s storm. Please reach out with any questions or concerns, and thank you for your patience as we navigate this winter season. I will provide an update later today on our plan.
Best,
Greg
