Local business is not a good neighbor

Easter morning was the beginning of a beautiful day in my neighborhood. A day to reflect on friends, family, good neighbors and those no longer with us.  Unfortunately, that reflection was disturbed early (8AM) by barking kennel dogs.

Our new neighbor on Maple Avenue apparently is not concerned that noise from the dogs in her care is loud and disruptive to those living nearby on a daily basis. It is a fact that dogs bark, that is what they do. They bark when stressed, bored, frustrated, angry, happy or for other reasons. It has been proven that dogs suffer mental and physical stress from constant barking and hearing loss from being confined in a noisy kennel.

For a dog, nonstop barking is a sign that things aren’t right in their world. For us neighbors, things  aren’t right in our world either.

Our peace and quiet is constantly disturbed by a business that will not be a considerate and good neighbor.
