Heroin found during traffic stop, two people arrested

While conducting a search upon consent following a traffic stop at Save A Lot in Danville on April 5, K9 deputy Tanner Abbott and Harrodsburg officer Blake Darland found two magnetic boxes underneath the vehicle, inside which was approximately one ounce of heroin.

Keshia Dunaway and Ronald Grupka both of Danville were arrested and transported to the Boyle County Detention Center.

Dunaway and Grupka were charged with the following: failure to or improper signal, trafficking heroin and drug paraphernalia.

Investigations can be done in other counties due to the BACKUPPS program. This allows agencies to continue investigations when they cross county lines.

Dunaway and Grupka’s bonds were set at $12,000, each, acccording to the BCDC website.
