Paul Howard Winchell

1965 – 2021

WINCHELL, Paul Howard, 55, loving and devoted husband and father, died Tues., April 6, 2021 at Baptist Health Lexington. Born Dec. 21, 1965 in Lexington, KY, he was the son of Delores Winchell (step-father, Chuck) Shinnick of Lexington, KY and the late Kenneth H. Winchell. Paul was a Tates Creek High School graduate and a member of Southland Christian Church. He was the owner and operator of Little Caesar’s Pizza franchises in Georgetown and Frankfort. He was a University of Kentucky sports fan and enjoyed boating, golfing, and watching his boys play sports. Survivors include his wife, Sarai Winchell; two sons, Alex Winchell and Jaxson Winchell; one brother, Wesley (Patsy) Winchell; several uncles; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Deborah Winchell and Kenneth Winchell. Funeral services will be held 1 pm Wed., April 14 at Southland Christian Church, Wayne B. Smith Chapel, Nicholasville, KY. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-9 pm Tues., April 13 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd.
