Judith Gipson

1943 – 2021

Judith Edwards Gipson, 77, of Garrard County passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021. Born December 2, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Cressel and Thelma Hood Edwards. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ted Gipson and brothers, Charles and Jimmie Edwards. Judy was a loving mother and devoted Granny. She loved flowers and raising them in her yard. She is survived by two sons, Ted (Sue) Gipson, Jr. of Junction City and Tim (Dianna) Gipson of Nicholasville; grandchildren, Ted (Stephanie) Gipson, III of Moreland and Katlyn (Craig) Noland of Junction City; and five great grandchildren: Caylei, Paxton, Allison, Sophia, and Waelyn. Visitation is 5-8 pm, Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral Service is 1 pm, Saturday with Rev. Otis Clark officiating. Burial is in Junction City Cemetery. Pallbearers are Barry Gipson, Brian Gipson, Christopher Gipson, Ernie Gipson, Teddy Gipson, and Craig Noland. Honorary pallbearers are Waelyn Gipson, Corey Kitchen, and Junior Campbell.
