1973 – 2021

Troy Wayne “Froggie” Walls, age 48, of Berea, passed away suddenly in Fort Myers, Florida on July 10, 2021.

Troy was born in Danville, Kentucky and was employed by Enersys in Richmond. He loved spending time with family and friends in his spare time. He was an avid Nascar fan, enjoyed traveling on his motorcycle, loved to “wheel and deal”, and was a “gym rat” at New Energy Fitness.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Bussell; his mother, Doris (Tommy) Eason; stepfather, Bobby Hafley; stepson, Johnny (Leslie) Bussell; two grandchildren, Bentley “B-man” and Addison “Chick” Bussell; and one aunt, Mary Denson.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth and Walter Coyle; one aunt, Shirley Stevens, and two half-brothers, Jeremy Chad Hafley and William Robert Hafley II.

Funeral services will be 2 pm, Sunday, July 18, 2021, at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Livingood officiating. Burial will follow in the Crab Orchard Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason McGuire, Brian Smith, Travis Cook, Chris Bowles, Justin Durham, and Greg Neace. Honorary bearers will be Timmy Terry, David Walls, Michael Denson, Joey Wilson, Toby Hardin, Robert Adams, Richard Adams, Keith Reynolds, and Shayne Adams.
