1938-2021

Jackie J. Gambrel, 83, of Danville, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Jackie is survived by his wife of 63 years Joyce Gambrel; his 3 children: Sharon Gambrel-McElroy (Jim) of Mitchellsburg, Ky; Debbie Crowley (Andy) of Greer, SC; Gregory Gambrel (Linda) of Abingdon, VA; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Jackie was a veteran of the US Navy and worked throughout the state of Kentucky in the construction industry. He was an avid fisherman and gardener, loving his tomato plants and apple trees until the day he passed.
