Beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, the city of Danville water distribution department will be removing a fire hydrant located at 605 Johnson Road in Perryville.

Water service will be temporarily interrupted while work is taking place for the following streets: Anderson Street, Wheeler Street, Johnson Street, Stewart Avenue and a portion of Mitchellsburg Road (U.S. Hwy. 1856). Once water service is restored, those affected will be under a boil water advisory until further notice.
