Donald Dean Martin, 72, of Hustonville passed away Monday, September 27, 2021, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born in Elyria, OH on November 26, 1948, to Nellie Tucker Martin of Danville and the late Roy A. Martin. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church in Moreland. He had owned and operated “The Welding Shop” in Danville until he retired. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Shirley Crowe Martin; his daughter, Donna (Robert) Cummins; his son, Tim (Jennifer) Martin, all of Hustonville; his brother, Joey (Vicki) Martin of Danville; his sister, Molly (Terry) Stevens of Danville; 6 grandchildren: Justin (Fiance’, Emily Bentz) Cummins, Allison (Chanse) Murphy, Jansen, Jax, Jayse, and Jett Martin. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Roy A. Martin, Jr. Funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2021, at New Hope Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Hazlett officiating.
