Boyle golfers qualify for state tournament; Team finishes second in region

Colten Wilson hits a chip shot onto the third green during Tuesday’s Region 4 tournament at Maywood. Wilson played the last 15 holes in even par and shot a 75 to advance to next week’s Leachman Buick-Cadillac-GMC KHSAA state tournament in Bowling Green.
William Carr shot a 74 and finished third in the Region 4 tournament at Maywood. He will be making his second consecutive trip to the state tournament next week in Bowling Green.
Boyle County finished second with a 303, which was 6 shots behind Bethlehem. Lawson Hon shot 76 and is also advancing to the state. Kobe Ingram shot 78 and is first alternate.
