The South District Baptist Association Annual Meeting will be held Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 11-12.

They will meet Monday, Oct. 11 at Perryville Baptist Church and Tuesday, Oct. 12 at Gethsemane Baptist Church.

A meal will be provided both evenings at 6 p.m., and the meeting will begin at 6:45 p.m.

The meeting will include times of information sharing, business and fellowship. The meeting is open to the public, and visitors are welcome to attend.

Major guest speaker will be Robert “Rob” Patterson, Evangelism team leader at Kentucky Baptist Convention. Rob is also Regional Consultant, North Central Region at KBC, former Missions/Discipleship Pastor at Immanuel Baptist Church Corbin, and has done missionary work with the International Mission Board.

South District Baptist Association is composed of churches with over 9,000 members from Boyle and parts of Garrard, Washington, Marion, and Casey counties. Moderator for the Association is Pastor JR Fields, pastor of Pleasant Run Baptist Church. Dr. Jim Clontz of Danville is the Director of Missions. Boyle Republican party to meet Oct. 19

The Boyle County Republic Party will meet Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 6:30 p.m. at The Bay at the Showroom, located at 2405 Lebanon Road.
