Boyle County Schools celebrates the recognition of last year’s AP Scholar Awards. Thirty-six members of the classes of 2021, 2022 and 2023 received distinction from the College Board in regard to their AP test scores.

Seven students were awarded the highest recognition, AP Scholar with Distinction. They received an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. AP Scholars with Distinction were Wesley Allahham, Bryce Drake, Robert Gaffney, Gabriel Skelton, Sophie Spencer, Kaylee Whitsell and Kailey Young.

Eight students were granted the second highest recognition, AP Scholar with Honor. They received an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. AP Scholars with Honor were Whitney Bean, Edie Clark, Lindsey Clark, Avery England, Cora Gilbert, Charles Simmons, Alexander Wise and Molly Wise.

Twenty-one students were recognized as AP Scholars. They received scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams. AP Scholars were Ember Anderson, Ashley Bigelow, Grant Carlsen, Tiffany Couch, Madison Craig, Hannah Faulkner, Augustine Fluty, Sophia Fogle, Jocelyn Godsey, Sidney Goode, Lenox Isola, Jack Little, Joseph Newell, Johnnie Perry, Kennedy Qualls, Ben Reynolds, James Sublett, Matthew Sutton, Mayme Taylor, Hiram Tran and Kyle Tyler.

The AP Scholar Awards are academic distinctions for students to cite among their credentials on applications and resumes. Students do not receive any monetary award from the College Board.
