Dolly Pearl Baugh Goins, 84, passed away Friday October 15, 2021. She was born July 28, 1937 in Boyle County to the late Allen and Ruth Westerfield Baugh. Dolly was the widow of Gilbert Goins with whom she was married for over fifty years.
Dolly was a member of the Stanford Church of the Nazarene and was a retired seamstress with the former Cowden Sewing Plant in Lancaster. Dolly enjoyed sewing and especially quilting, she liked to travel, play cards and was always ready to have fun.
Survivors include three sisters, Ruth Johnson, Mary Ann Hampton, Teresa (Ricky) Lynn, a brother, Garnett Baugh and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Cleo Crowe, Clifton Baugh, Ernest Baugh, and two sisters, Rebecca Baugh and Virginia Cook.
The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 20, 2021at Walden Funeral Home Perryville with Pastor Buford Edwards and Bro. Lonnie Goodin officiating. Burial will follow in Parksville Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday October 19, 2021 from 5 – 8:00 p.m. at Walden Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be David and Jeremy McDaniel, Lonnie and Caleb Goodin, Donald Goins and William Roy Hampton.
Honorary bearers are William Preston and Corey Goodin.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Stanford Church of the Nazarene or Heritage Hospice.
