Scarlette Evelyn “Evie” Frederick, 29, of Moreland passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021. Born November 24, 1991, she was the daughter of J. Kevin Frederick of Moreland and Scarlette Michele Bowman of Moreland. Evie loved the Lord. She graduated with honors from Danville High School, Class of 2010. She attended the University of The Cumberlands and Midway College on a softball scholarship. She loved to fish, hunt, being in nature, and loved spending time with her Great Danes and best friend, Kelsey. She was a wonderful caregiver for her dad and has always been a “Daddy’s Girl”. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a maternal grandmother, Elaine Reeves of FL; a maternal step-grandmother, Doris Bowman of FL; aunts and uncles: Dana Marie (Danny) Sanders of Lex, Tim (Tina) Frederick of Shelbyville, Teri (Philip) Kolaskey of PA, and Tracy Woodard of Fl; her best friend, Kelsey (David) Scott of Casey County; several cousins; and Brad Flynn and Greg Sharp, both of Lexington, and Mike Frederick of Georgetown, who were like uncles to her. Visitation is 11am-1pm, Saturday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 1pm, Saturday with a private burial at Frederick Family Cemetery.
