Christine Buchanan McBee, 89, of Stanford, KY passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Stanford Care and Rehabilitation. Born on February 17, 1932, in Danville, KY to the late Ollie and Mary Arnold Buchanan.
Survivors include one son, Jeff McBee (Kathy) of Danville, KY; three sisters, Martha Ann May, Susie Morris (Bruce), and Helen Ham (Maurice); three grandchildren, Leslie McBee (Grady Bentley), Olivia McBee Beach (Taylor) and Jeremy McBee (Laken Goodlett); five great-grandchildren, Sophie, Tucker, Lucy, Bo Tipton, and Maylei Kay; several nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie C. and Mary Buchanon; one son, Jim McBee; two brothers, Hugh Buchanan and James Buchanan; two sisters, Dorothy Hood and Pauline Hood; and one granddaughter, Lorna McBee.
A one-day service has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Jim Baughman officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
