Cases handled recently in Boyle District Court, listed by name, charge, fine and jail sentence, where applicable, include the following. Court costs also were assessed in most cases.

• Franklin D. Anness: operating on suspended/revoked operators license, 30 days; resisting arrest, 60 days, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, 90 days — total 180 days, credit for eight days served.

• Alan Herbert: DUI, $200 fine, license suspended six months.

• Jason L. Evridge: failure to wear seatbelts, $25; operating on suspended/revoked operators license, dismissed.

• Jacob Nussbaum: hunting with improper shotgun-size/plugged/etc, $100.

• Lisa Hankins: second-degree disorderly conduct, dismissed; public intoxication (excludes alcohol), dismissed. Third-degree criminal trespassing, dismissed. Public intoxication (excludes alcohol), dismissed; second-degree disorderly conduct, dismissed.

• Aliyah D. Moore: first-degree possession of  controlled substance meth, dismissed; buying/possessing drug paraphernalia, dismissed; failure to or improper signal, dismissed.

• Melissa L. Sims: public alcohol intoxication, first and second offense, $100.

CIVIL JUDGMENTS

Civil judgments handed down in Boyle Circuit Court include:

• Citimortgage, Inc. vs. Victoria Perkins, et al: default judgment for plaintiff, principal sum of $47,321.61 plus interest, costs and fees, reimbursement for attorney fees, sums advances in payment of ad valorem taxes, insurance premiums, winterization or in preservation of the real estate, plus other fees and costs, etc.

• Greenriver Investments, LLC, vs. David W. Whitehouse, et al: default judgment for plaintiff, real property in the amount of $150.45, plus attorney’s fees, administrative fee, interest and other fees and interest, etc.

• Christopher W. Archer vs. Shannon M. Archer: divorce granted.

CRIMINAL JUDGMENTS

• Jermaine Christian: trafficking in controlled substance carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives, second offense, amended to second-degree possession of unspecified controlled substance, incarcerated 26 days, credit for 26 days served.
