Danville Police responded to the intersection of Daniel Drive and the Danville Bypass just after 7 p.m. Thursday night for reports of an injury traffic collision.

According to a report from the Danville Police Department, statements obtained at the scene indicated that a 2021 Honda SUV driven by Teresa Grizzell, 48, of Danville, may have been traveling the wrong way, westbound in the eastbound lanes, on the Danville Bypass.

The vehicle reportedly turned in front of a 2000 Ford pickup driven by James Bradshaw, 66, of Brodhead, who was traveling eastbound on the bypass. The collision occurred at the intersection.
