Barbara June Duncan Feistritzer, 79, passed away November 26, 2021, in Danville, Kentucky. Born June 7, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Dan and Alma Oakes Duncan. She was a charter member of Temple Baptist Church. Barbara worked at the Montessori school as a cook and secretary. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Feistritzer, and a brother, Bobby Duncan. Barbara is survived by her children, Joe Feistritzer (Lisa), Emily Cummins (Tim), Michael Feistritzer, and Sherri Smothers (Tim); grandchildren, Connie Rousey, Jacob Cummins, Camron Smothers (Morgan), Dakota Smothers, Summer Smothers, Benjamin Feistritzer, and Jonathan Feistritzer; brothers, Lonnie Duncan (Judy) and Danny Duncan; several great-grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Private family graveside service will be at 1 pm, Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Bellevue Cemetery. Rev James McCarroll will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jacob Cummins, Camron Smothers, Dakota Smothers, Tim Smothers, Ben Feistritzer, and Jonathan Feistritzer. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me” (Psalms 23: 4).
