Henry Lewis Sewell, 87, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021. He was born in Ayer, Massachusetts on October 29, 1934 and was the husband of Joyce Hartwell Sewell for 47 years.
Henry was of the Baptist faith and served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a retail manager for the former Roses department store and enjoyed reading, all sports and going to flea markets. He was a former minor league baseball player and was a fan of all John Wayne movies.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Joyce are, three children, Kimberly Millhauser, Karen Blalock, Michael (Rhonda) Sewell, 10 grandchildren, Shauna and Kayla King, Lauren Harkey, Zach Blalock, David and Kasi Sewell, Savanna, Sabrina, Samantha, and Chad Bragg. Also surviving are 17 great-grandchildren.
There will be a time for family and friends to visit at Walden Funeral Home Perryville on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. There are no other services scheduled.
