Boyle County is one of 20 new counties being added to the Disaster Declaration. Boyle County  Judge-Executive Howard Hunt said, “We just received word that Gov. Beshear has requested an amendment to his Major Disaster Declaration to include the Central Kentucky Counties of Boyle, Casey,  Hart, and Marion counties.”

According to a press release from Senator McConnell’s office it is now up to FEMA to recommend the additional counties and President Biden to approve, inclusion of these counties in Public and/or  Individual Assistance.
