The Danville Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at B&L Jewelers located in the Danville Manor shopping center.  The burglary occurred Saturday, Dec. 11.

Officers responded to an activated alarm at the business at 11:17 p.m. The first officer arrived on the scene at 11:19 p.m. to find that entry had been made through the front door.

A suspect had entered by throwing a large rock through the front glass.  Multiple items of jewelry had been removed, and the suspect had already fled the area.
