Search warrant leads to arrest

Deputies of the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office were conducting a narcotics investigation in Junction City when enough evidence was obtained for a search warrant.
Deputies along with the Junction City Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence off of Bellview Street. Deputies located suspected methamphetamine, numerous baggies, several scales, and other miscellaneous drug paraphernalia items. Also inside was a minor who lived at the residence. This residence is within 1,000 feet of Junction City Elementary School.
Arrested was Judith Sims of Junction City, KY. Sims was charged with:
• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance(Methamphetamine)
• Trafficking a Controlled Substance within 1,000 feet from a school
• Unlawful Transaction with a Minor
• Drug Paraphernalia
