Douglas Grant, 75, of Stanford, KY passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Landmark of Lancaster. Born on February 18, 1946 in Lancaster, KY to the late Hamp and Ruby Matthews Grant. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Douglas retired from Cowden’s Manufacturing and later retired from farming. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sandra Grant of Stanford, KY; one daughter, Kim Kennedy of Stanford; two brothers, David Grant (Hattie) and Bobby Grant, both of Lancaster; one sister, Joyce Brickey of Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hamp and Ruby Grant. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, KY.
