Boyle County High School Principal Mark Wade reacts after he hit a shot from midcourt on his first attempt Tuesday during a shooting competition at halftime of the Danville-Boyle boys basketball game. Wade and Danville assistant principal Scott Bugg participated in a half-court shooting contest as part of a promotion by the Boyle County Farm Bureau Women’s Program in celebration of Food Check Out Week, which spotlights the abundant and affordable food available in Kentucky by marking the point in the year by which an average family of four has earned enough money to cover its food costs for the year. The Boyle County Farm Bureau Women’s Program made a donation to each school’s family resource and youth services center.
