Sue A. Mattox, 77, of Stanford, KY passed away on March 18, 2022, in Lexington, KY. Born on September 18, 1944 in Stanford to the late Robert and Christine McQuary Adams. She worked at Ft. Logan Hospital as a Nurse’s Aid for 38 years. She was a member of Victory Christian Church in Lancaster, KY.

She is survived by a step-son, Michael J. Mattox; two sisters, Barbara Modlin (Paul) and Ruby Lowson; two step-grandchildren, Nathanial J. Mattox and Kya Mattox; special friend, Trish Caudill; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Mattox; previous husbands, Ronald Harrison and Benny Edwards; Parents, Robert and Christine Adams; and one brother, Cecil Adams.

A one-day service has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be form 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers are Juan Rodriguez Donald Stevens, Tony Thomas and James Harrison.
