Jimmie Lee Cocanougher, 86, passed away Wednesday March 16, 2022. He was the loving husband of the late Pearl Matherly Cocanougher and was born May 29, 1935 in Danville, Kentucky to the late Elmer and Catherine Butler Cocanougher.
Jimmie served his country in both the United States Army and Navy and was a road construction supervisor and member of Salt River Baptist Church.
Survivors include a step-son, Steve (Betsy) Cook, a brother, Denny (Joann) Cocanougher, and a niece Linda Elzy.
A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday April 2, 2022 at the shelter of Hillcrest Cemetery in Perryville with Bro. Morris Trayner and Pastor Dave Evans officiating.
Services are under the direction of Walden Funeral Home.
