Dorn awarded 10th annual Danielle Thomas Memorial Scholarship

Brandon Dorn was chosen the winner of the 10th annual Danielle Thomas Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. Brandon is the son of Susan Dorn of Parksville. Brandon plans on attending the University of Kentucky and majoring in Musical Performance.
The scholarship was created following the death of Danielle Thomas, Class of 2003, who was a six-year member of the Boyle County Marching Rebels playing the alto saxophone. The scholarship is awarded annually to a senior band student. Danielle is the daughter of Jamie Thomas Bright, and granddaughter of Juanita Hardgrove.
