Elizabeth Marie Lane Arnold, 90, passed away Sunday May 15, 2022. She was born October 4, 1931 in Liberty, Kentucky to Joseph Clarence and Dilly Hazel Jones Lane, Jr. and was the widow of Harold Isaac “Pete” Arnold who passed away in 2004.
For several years, Marie help organize the Perryville Commemoration and she was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking flowers and working with Pete on the farm for 17 years. She was a good-hearted woman who love to take care of her family.
Survivors include four daughters, Pamela (Curtis) Eldridge, Jill Arnold, Joyce Arnold, Joan (Dale) Cinnamon, four grandchildren, Meredith McQuerry, Clay Cinnamon, David Eldridge, Jason Eldridge, seven great-grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two sisters, Jenell Oller and Joyce Ann Berentz.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marie was preceded in death by 15 siblings.
The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Walden Funeral Home with Chris Brummett officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Perryville. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, also at the funeral home.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Greg Robertson, Brian Williams, Scott Oller, Clay Cinnamon, Travis McQuerry, and Jason Eldridge.
Honorary bearers will be Anthony Young, Aaron Hackworth, David Gorley, Joe Mike Berentz, John Clay Whitlock, and Brian Whitlock.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Heritage Hospice.
