The Boyle County Fire Department responded to two separate fires on Monday.

They responded at 1:01 p.m. Monday to a house on fire in the Johnson Branch Rd area in the Forkland Community. Personnel located heavy smoke and fire conditions, and the fire was quickly under control and extinguished.

The Boyle County Fire Department responded to a call at 5:00 p.m. Monday reporting a tractor and field fire in the Stewarts Ln area in Danville. Personnel located smoke and fire conditions, and the fire was quickly under control and extinguished.
