Juanita Anderson, 91, of Danville, passed away June 3, 2022 in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born on May 12, 1931 in Wilmore, Kentucky to the late John Lawrence and Martha Ray Bratton. Juanita is survived by her loving husband, Bill Anderson.
Juanita worked at various places in her career, such as Citizens Bank, Boyle County Stockyards and the Tobacco Warehouse. She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church. Juanita enjoyed reading, going to Church functions, and her McDonalds Group of friends, just to name a few. She was “Grannie” to a family she dearly loved and was so proud of.
Surviving is a son, Steve Anderson of Danville, a daughter, Anita Bertram (Steve) of Danville; four grandchildren, Joshua Bertram (Rebekah), Justin Anderson (Kelly), Andrew Bertram (Sara) and Casie Anderson Prible (Will); and great-grandchildren, Clayton Bertram, Claire Bertram, Sydney Anderson, Lauren Anderson, Anna Prible, Liam Prible, and Isaiah Bertram.
She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, John Alexander Bratton, Hilton Ray Bratton, and Berdeaux Bratton Moss and a daughter-in-law, Jane Anderson.
Funeral services were held 4pm Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Andrew Bertram officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4pm on Sunday. A private family graveside service was held at Bellevue Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are preferred to the American Heart Association.
