Boyle Sheriff’s Office seizes stolen firearms

On June 16, deputies with the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation into stolen firearms from a residence on Taylor Road.  The suspect was identified as Jeremy Hurdle, from Tennessee. Hurdle had an active arrest warrant out of Nelson Co and has known address in Junction City. Deputies located the suspect leaving the residence and a traffic stop was conducted. Consent to search the vehicle was given by the driver. Inside the vehicle deputies located three of the four stolen firearms along with a stolen pistol out of Mississippi, three other pistols, approximately 702 suspected Xanax pills, two vacuum-sealed packages with suspected  marijuana, digital scales and $1,810 cash.

Charges include: theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking of marijuana, trafficking of a controlled substance.
