On Thursday August 4, 2022, Danville Police responded to the Latimer Heights housing complex for a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival officers conducted an investigation and spoke with both involved parties. Officers determined that the disturbance occurred over a payment dispute for sexual favors. The sexual acts occurred over several weeks with the male party identified as Rodney Harris, 55, of Danville refusing to compensate the female party identified as Bevin Holman, 52, of Danville. Holman went to Harris’ home to confront him and collect payment. Holman unlawfully entered Harris’ residence, threatened him, and forcefully removed his wallet from his back pocket. Police were summoned to the scene as the situation continued to escalate. Holman was arrested and charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, Robbery 2nd Degree, and Prostitution. Harris was cited and released for Promoting Prostitution. 

The following day, on Friday August 5, 2022, Danville Police Detectives executed a search warrant and arrest warrant at a home in Russell Springs Kentucky.  The investigation and arrest stemmed from an incident that occurred July 2022 in Danville where a 24-year-old age male engaged in illegal acts with a 12-year-old female victim.  Austin Gladd, 24, of Russell Springs was arrested by detectives and lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center on the following charges; Rape 2nd Degree (no force), Sodomy 2nd Degree, Sexual Abuse 1st Degree, Unlawful Transaction with a Minor 1st Degree (illegal sex act), Procurement/Promote Use of Minor by Electronic Means.
