William “Bill” E. Galbreath

William “Bill” E. Galbreath started his journey October 2, 1939 and the adventures began. Graduating from Danville High School before joining the Air Force where he honed his mechanical skills and after being honorably discharged he plied his trade across the United States – Florida, Georgia, Virginia, and California just to name a few – and finally settling down in his hometown of Danville, KY. He believed in community and charity and belonged to many civic organizations including the Masonic fraternity, Scottish and York rite bodies, and the Shriners to name a few.
He was blessed with four children Chris, Karen, Kelvin, and William Jr., five grandchildren Christy, Michelle, Casey, Brayden, and Connor, and 7 great-grandchildren Kingston, Roselynn, Kosey, Hayleigh, Taylor, Emma, and Grant.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to his celebration of life at 1 p.m. Father Anthony McLaughlin will officiate. He will be laid to rest with his late wife, Erika, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. The online guestbook is available at www.stithcares.com.
