William Pendleton Swain, 84, of Louisville passed away Friday, September 16, 2022.
He was born October 2, 1937 in Lexington, KY, the son of the late Enos Stevens and Virginia (Waddle) Swain.
William was a graduate of Castle Heights Military Academy in Lebanon, TN, he went on to attend Centre College and was a 1961 graduate of Vanderbilt Law School. He was an Attorney and Partner in the firm Boehl Stopher & Graves. He was also Of Counsel for Phillips Parker Orberson & Arnett.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Peggy Weissinger Swain; two sons, Charles Edward Swain and William Smith Swain; one granddaughter, Katherine Elisabeth Swain; and his siblings, Enos Stevens Swain, Jr. and Kitty Swain Beard.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10 AM Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at the funeral home. Graveside service and burial will take place at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Bellvue Cemetery in Danville, KY.
