Boil Water Advisory issued for Bragg St. area – LIFTED

A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for 103 N. Bragg St. 2nd Street from Bragg to the River, N. Bragg to Hardee St., S. Bragg to 3rd St., All of East 1st St. THIS ADVISORY HAS BEEN LIFTED.
A 4″ cast iron line and valve need to be replaced with 4″ C900 (PVC). 40 customers are affected.
Although NO CONTAMINATION HAS BEEN CONFIRMED we recommend: Bring all water to a rolling boil, let it boil for three (3) minutes, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and foodpreparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.
