The Danville Fire Department is advising residents to avoid the area of Dillehay Street as they work to repair a gas line they say was struck by a car. Parts of Dillehay and Furn have been closed and will remain so until the leak is repaired. The fire department is working in conjunction with ATMOS Energy to repair the line. Currently one business has been fully evacuated.
