Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is AAUW Oct. 20 meeting topic

The Bluegrass Central Chapter of the American Association of University Women will host Kathy Hogg and a discussion of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library on Oct. 20.

The meeting will be held from 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. at the Woodford County Library, 115 N. Main Street in Versailles.

Kathy Hogg, retired educator and Woodford County Imagination Library founder and organizer/chairperson, will outline the particulars of the program and how it impacts Central Kentucky.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library ensures that all children have books at home, regardless of the environment in which they live and grow. Children from birth to age five from across the world are sent specially-selected, age-appropriate books each month personalized with their name.
